X3: The Reunion 2.0 Review

Alright first and for most, this game like the other reviews have stated has a HUGH LEARNING CURVE. Once you get past the curve the game is not that bad. The graphics are beautiful and engrossing. The combat is very challenging especially when fighting multiple units. The trading AI is run very well for a mass intergalactic trade.

You must have patience with this game because it's very time consuming. There are some minor glitches with the game like it freezes every so often (which only happened when I first started playing). You can capture just about any ship. The MOD community for this game is GREAT. The replay value is very good on this game because of the extensions from the MODS.

Fun * * * * *

Love owning space with mass fleets of ships, the auto trade making money with little to no effort once setup and the graphics make this game great.

All in all great game it's worth thirty-five to forty bucks (although I got it for a steal at four). If you are the casual gamer who likes to go in guns blazing and mindless game play that takes mere seconds to learn then this is not your game. If you're into strategy, Flight Sim, and complex thinking games that give you a challenge then you'll love this game.
